Rajasthan By-Elections Underway Amid Tight Security
Polling has begun for by-elections in seven assembly constituencies in Rajasthan under tight security. A total of 69 candidates are contesting for the seats. Over 1,914 polling stations have been set up, with more than 9,000 security personnel deployed to manage the process effectively.

Polling for the by-elections in Rajasthan's seven assembly constituencies began at 7 a.m. Wednesday under stringent security, officials confirmed.
Polling took place in Jhunjhunu, Dausa, Deoli-Uniara, Khinvsar, Chorasi, Salumber, and Ramgarh. Election authorities have slated November 23 for the declaration of results.
Approximately 69 candidates, including 10 women, are contending in constituencies with a combined total of 19.37 lakh voters. Over 9,000 security personnel have been stationed across 1,914 polling stations to maintain a smooth voting process. The current assembly makeup includes 114 BJP MLAs, 65 Congress MLAs, and several independents and minor parties.
