Prime Minister Narendra Modi, embarking on a significant diplomatic mission, will visit Nigeria, Brazil, and Guyana starting November 16, according to the Ministry of External Affairs. This tour marks the first visit to Nigeria by an Indian prime minister in 17 years.
In Brazil, the prime minister will participate in the G20 summit held in Rio De Janeiro from November 18, emphasizing India's stance on various global issues. Modi will build on the previous G20 New Delhi Leaders' Declaration and the Voice of the Global South Summits. Key discussions under India's last G20 presidency included inclusive growth and digital innovation.
Concluding his tour in Guyana, Modi will engage with President Mohamed Irfaan Ali, address Guyana's Parliament, and participate in the CARICOM-India Summit, solidifying India's ties in South America and the Caribbean region.
