This sentiment was expressed at the INDUSUSX Summit, hosted by the US-India Strategic and Partnership Forum at Stanford University.
Waltz, recently engaged in the US elections, addressed the summit through a video message, emphasizing the need for strengthened collaboration to sustain a free and open Indo-Pacific region and guard Indian sovereignty, especially along the Line of Control.
