In a pointed critique, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini condemned Maharashtra Congress Chief Nana Patole for remarks urging the OBC community to thwart the BJP. Saini accused Congress of exploiting OBCs for vote bank politics while referencing the party's historical stance against granting them constitutional rights.
Citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts, Saini highlighted the significance of establishing the OBC Commission and granting it constitutional status, contrasting it with Congress's alleged neglect. Saini further ridiculed Patole's apparent ignorance of historical debates, including former PM Rajiv Gandhi's position against OBC constitutional rights.
As Patole's controversial comments stirred political waters ahead of Maharashtra's elections, Saini projected confidence in an overwhelming NDA victory. He described Congress and its allies as exposed and rejected by the electorate, asserting that the upcoming polls would see the NDA triumph and form the state government.
