Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has leveled serious accusations against the ruling JMM-led coalition in Jharkhand, claiming it is backing Bangladeshi infiltrators for electoral gains. At an electoral rally in Khijri, he urged voters to unite against the coalition.
Sarma charged that Chief Minister Hemant Soren failed to deliver on promises made during the 2019 elections. He alleged that the influx of Bangladeshi infiltrators is impacting the demographics and cited a rise in the Muslim population in Sahebganj to 35%.
