Senior BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari has issued a warning of a protest at the India-Bangladesh border in Petrapole, West Bengal, if attacks on minority Hindus in Bangladesh do not cease. Addressing the media, Adhikari expressed alarm over reports of violence against Hindus in various areas of Bangladesh.
Adhikari highlighted the urgency of ensuring safety for minorities, stressing that Bangladesh must uphold its duty to protect their rights. He cautioned the Md Yunus government in Bangladesh, emphasizing India's cultural and historical connections to Bangladeshi Hindus, which require immediate attention to their welfare.
The leader of the opposition in the West Bengal Assembly, Adhikari, drew parallels to Newton's third law of motion, warning that continued aggression would provoke a corresponding reaction. Bengali citizens are expected to support this cause, he said, aligning themselves with the Hindu community facing oppression across the border.
