Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday launched a scathing critique on the Congress party, accusing them of following Soviet-style economic policies post-Independence, which he claims led to substantial financial losses for the country.
Speaking at a campaign rally for MLA Sambhaji Patil Nilangekar in Deoni, Maharashtra, Gadkari highlighted what he considered the missed opportunity for rural development by Congress, contrasting it with the achievements of the BJP government.
Gadkari asserted that the BJP prioritizes rural development, noting over 3.30 lakh villages are now interconnected through government initiatives. He vowed to create a prosperous India by promoting transparency, rural prosperity, and agriculture, aiming for a nation free of poverty.
