Actor-turned-politician Mithun Chakraborty took center stage on Monday as he led a massive roadshow in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district, supporting BJP candidate Meera Munda. The roadshow, which traversed through Gopalpur, Rakhamines, and Jadugora, witnessed a large turnout, notably with significant female presence eager to see the Bollywood icon in action.

Chakraborty's efforts are part of the BJP's aggressive campaign strategy, with Meera Munda contesting against incumbent JMM MLA Sanjeev Sardar for the Potka constituency seat. The Bollywood star also made a stop at Dahigora Circus Maidan in Ghatsila to rally support for BJP candidate Babulal Soren, son of former CM Champai Soren.

Despite a fractured hand, Chakraborty remained enthusiastic, addressing the crowd, "Despite my fractured hand, I have come here for your love and affection." He pledged to return if BJP clinches victory in the state elections. As Jharkhand heads to its 81-member assembly polls on November 13 and 20, all eyes are set on the outcome, with votes to be counted on November 23.
