Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in a series of rallies held Monday in Jharkhand, declared a robust agenda for tackling illegal immigration if the BJP is elected. Shah outlined a plan to establish a committee focused on identifying and expelling illegal immigrants, alongside reclaiming land he accused them of occupying.
Addressing a gathering in Seraikela, Shah criticized the ruling coalition, asserting that infiltrators are threatening Jharkhand's 'Roti, Beti, and Maati.' He accused the JMM, Congress, and RJD of exploiting tribal communities for vote banks, while vowing BJP's commitment to respect and uplift the state's indigenous population.
Highlighting alleged corruption in the JMM-led coalition, Shah promised integrity and prosperity under BJP governance, with a focus on ensuring economic aid reaches citizens. Criticisms of Hemant Soren's unfulfilled promises and attacks on Congress regarding Article 370 marked Shah's rallying calls for change in Jharkhand.
