Jharkhand's chief minister, Hemant Soren, launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led NDA, accusing it of exploiting the state for nearly two decades. He credited the JMM-led administration for advancing citizens' rights and benefits over the past five years.
Soren voiced confidence that the INDIA bloc would oust the BJP from power in the state, as campaigns concluded for the first phase of polling. This phase, comprising 43 out of 81 seats, is slated for November 13.
At a rally in the Silli assembly constituency, Soren highlighted his efforts to alleviate people's burdens and questioned the BJP's accomplishments during its lengthy tenure. He also mentioned initiatives like waiving outstanding electricity bills to aid Jharkhand's residents.
