On Monday, the importance of time management in political campaigns emerged as a concern after Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was visibly frustrated by delays at a rally in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, which was captured on camera.
Shinde, who intended to speak at a rally for party candidate Sanjana Jadhav in the Kannad assembly segment, was dissatisfied upon realizing that scheduled speeches by two other leaders threatened to delay his next campaign stop. Typically, the most senior leader concludes rally speeches.
Union minister Amit Shah faced a similar issue on Sunday at an Amravati rally, apologizing for the mere five minutes available to address the crowd before his helicopter's scheduled departure. Meanwhile, MNS leader Raj Thackeray, addressing scheduling challenges, utilized live telecasts to connect with audiences strategically across Mumbai.
