Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress Chief, delivered a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP leaders, accusing them of undermining democracy in India. He stated that Modi's government is oppressing the opposition through central agencies such as the ED and CBI.
Kharge criticized the relationship between Modi, Amit Shah, Adani, and Ambani, suggesting they jointly control the affairs of the government. He accused Modi of playing a pivotal role in toppling elected governments and likened his dealings to purchasing legislators like livestock for personal gain.
Further attacking the government's competence, Kharge cited unfulfilled promises and alleged misinformation. He warned of planned changes to the Constitution and rallied support among opposition leaders to counter BJP's influence in upcoming elections.
