Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has raised concerns over the alleged rise of mafia influence in Jharkhand, claiming that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the sole entity capable of providing security and governance. This assertion comes as campaigning concludes for the first phase of elections slated for November 13.
Drawing parallels with the law enforcement situation in Uttar Pradesh, CM Adityanath emphasized the strict measures being implemented to maintain order, warning against any disruptions. He suggested that the BJP is uniquely positioned to ensure safety and good governance, contrasting with the current state of affairs in Jharkhand.
Adding to these sentiments, Assam Chief Minister and BJP's Jharkhand co-incharge, Himanta Biswa Sarma, voiced optimism about the party's chances of securing a substantial majority in the forthcoming election. Citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent campaign efforts, Sarma believes the atmosphere is conducive to a decisive victory. With phases set for November 13 and 20, final vote tallies will be revealed on November 23.
