Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a severe critique of Jharkhand's Chief Minister Hemant Soren, alleging a betrayal against the tribal community. Speaking at a public rally, Shah described how Champai Soren, a long-time supporter of Hemant Soren, was removed from his position. Shah argued that this act was not only humiliating for Champai Soren but also an affront to the entire tribal community.
Shah alleged a massive cash seizure from a Congress leader's residence, claiming that Rs 30 crore was discovered at Alamgir Alam's house and questioning the source of these funds. He accused Hemant Soren's government of embezzling funds meant for the citizens of Jharkhand. Shah warned that the current JMM-Congress-RJD coalition was involved in significant scams, including a 1,000 crore MGNREGA scam and a 300 crore land scam among others.
Shah asserted that if the BJP comes to power in Jharkhand, severe measures will be implemented to address exam paper leaks. He also criticized Congress' promise of Muslim reservations in Maharashtra, claiming it would reduce quotas for tribal and Dalit groups. The speech comes as Jharkhand prepares for assembly elections in November.
