As polling dates draw near, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed strong confidence in the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, dismissing credibility in Congress's promises. In a statement to ANI in Gwalior on Monday, CM Yadav emphasized that Prime Minister Modi is spearheading development by involving the public.
"The public has grown skeptical of Congress's promises, and BJP's leadership under Prime Minister Modi has shown tangible results," Yadav stated. "I am confident that the upcoming elections will underscore this trust, similar to BJP's victories in Haryana and likely outcomes in Maharashtra," he added.
In Maharashtra, the opposition alliance Maha Vikas Aghadi unveiled its manifesto, promising 'five guarantees' including a caste census, farm loan waivers, and a health cover for farmers. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge emphasized welfare initiatives including annual financial aid and free bus services, targeting broad socio-economic benefits.
