In a fiery address at an election rally, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party (SP), labeling it as a 'production house of criminals and mafia.' Adityanath accused the party of spreading anarchy and violence against weaker sections of society, with Akhilesh Yadav, the SP's national president, acting as the 'CEO' of these alleged criminals, and Shivpal Yadav as their trainer.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asserted that these criminal elements aim to usurp people's wealth and undermine the dignity of women. He claimed that during the SP's power, criminals enjoyed a free rein in the state, a situation that has changed with the BJP's governance.
Highlighting the deviation from its original path, Adityanath alleged that the current SP leadership has sullied the party's socialist movement roots, once led by figures like Jaya Prakash Narayana and Rammanohar Lohiya. He criticized the INDIA alliance, led by the SP and Congress, for lacking a development agenda and prioritizing personal gain over national progress. The comments come ahead of byelections in nine Assembly seats.
