As Maharashtra gears up for assembly elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) during a rally in Buldhana. He accused the alliance of consistently failing to deliver on promises, labeling their commitments as synonymous with deceit, dishonesty, and appeasement.
In his address, Shah praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, citing landmark developments such as the construction of religious corridors and temples. He criticized MVA for opposing initiatives like the removal of Article 370 and the upcoming Waqf (Amendment) Bill. Shah reassured citizens that the amendment would limit powers of the Waqf Board, ensuring protection for lands and properties.
With the Maharashtra assembly elections scheduled for November 20, the political battle lines are drawn between the ruling Mahayuti alliance and the opposition MVA. The opposition aims to challenge BJP's track record, but Shah questioned their past performance and urged voters to consider the accomplishments achieved under BJP's governance.
