Political Tensions Rise in Andhra Pradesh as Deputy CM Criticizes YSRCP Chief

In a fiery statement, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan accused YSRCP leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy of intimidating police officers and vowed the government would intervene if any harm befell them.
Kalyan's comments were a response to Reddy's recent warnings about holding police accountable if they harass opposition members. Kalyan emphasized that no official would be intimidated and reminded responders that while Reddy is a former CM, he remains an MLA.
Furthermore, Kalyan assured that security would be evaluated for APCC president Y S Sharmila if she requested it. He also suggested creating neighborhood defense committees to enhance women's safety, drawing inspiration from similar initiatives in Jammu and Kashmir.
