Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that the ruling Mahayuti alliance would secure a full majority in the Maharashtra state elections, with the decision on the chief ministerial post to be made after the polls.

Speaking after releasing the BJP's manifesto for the upcoming November 20 state assembly elections, Shah voiced optimism about the Mahayuti's chances of winning. The BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP alliance will form a ministerial committee to address electoral promises post-victory, he stated.

Shah criticized opposition leaders like Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar for prioritizing family members over party stability and accused Congress of promoting divisive caste politics while denying allegations about weakening reservations.
