Union Health Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda took a dig at the opposition on Saturday, chastising them for their inability to fulfill electoral promises while engaging in trivial investigations like the 'missing samosa' controversy in Congress-ruled Himachal Pradesh.

The 'samosa scandal,' in which a snack meant for Himachal Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu disappeared, has paradoxically gained significant attention, with the CID's alleged involvement.

Nadda's comments came during a rally in Ramgarh, where he criticized the opposition for failing in governance promises across states like Telangana and Himachal Pradesh.

Nadda extolled Prime Minister Narendra Modi's commitment to Jharkhand, citing several welfare initiatives like Ayushman Bharat Yojana and Mudra Yojana launched in the state.

He emphasized Modi's '5G approach' to governance, which includes 'good governance,' 'goodwill,' 'guarantee to deliver,' 'Garib Kalyan (welfare of the poor),' and 'growth.'

Nadda vowed to eradicate Naxalism in Jharkhand, accusing the JMM-Congress government of fostering it. He also pledged to take stringent actions against illegal Bangladeshi immigrants, declaring that their offspring would not receive tribal rights.

Jharkhand is set for elections in two phases on November 13 and 20, with results on November 23. In the last elections, the JMM won 30 seats, BJP 25, and Congress 16.
