Gadkari Criticizes Congress for Constitutional Amendments and Dynastic Politics

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari took aim at Congress during rallies in Maharashtra's Wardha district, accusing the party of amending the Constitution and falsely claiming the BJP's intent to do the same. Gadkari asserted that the BJP, contrary to Congress's dynastic nature, is a party built by its workers.
Addressing the issue of rural development, Gadkari criticized Congress, particularly under Indira Gandhi's leadership, for neglecting rural India. He argued that with proper priorities, issues like farmers' suicides and poverty could have been mitigated. Gadkari stressed the need for reservation for the socially and economically disadvantaged.
The former BJP chief and current road transport minister also highlighted the significant financial investments made in Vidarbha under his leadership and lamented the decline of political standards, underscoring the BJP's focus on infrastructural progress in the region.
