In a controversial statement, Rajasthan BJP chief Madan Rathore remarked that RLP MP Hanuman Beniwal might find it advantageous if his spouse Kanika Beniwal loses the upcoming Khinvsar assembly bypoll. Rathore implied that her return home could enhance family life by ensuring their children receive adequate care. Kanika Beniwal is contesting the November 13 by-election as an RLP candidate.
Rathore expressed skepticism over the Beniwals both pursuing political careers simultaneously, questioning the potential impact on their family. "If both keep engaged in politics, who will manage the family?" he stated. Rathore even humorously mentioned the risk Hanuman Beniwal took by involving his wife in politics.
Further, Rathore took a jab at the Congress party, alleging that several key leaders, including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and P Chidambaram, have been embroiled in scams. He claimed these leaders have been operating with impunity while out on bail, continuing their political agendas.
