In a bid to streamline agricultural operations, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasized his government's swift approach in procuring Kharif crops this season. Farmers have received payments totaling Rs 11,296 crore directly into their bank accounts within 72 hours after crop procurement, showcasing efficiency in the process.

Saini highlighted enhanced measures such as the early start of paddy purchases at Minimum Support Price (MSP) due to early arrivals in mandis. The implementation of digital gate passes via a new mobile app has further eased farmers' access to mandis, allowing direct entry without delays or queues.

Additionally, Saini addressed skepticisms by highlighting expanded measures benefiting middlemen with increased commissions, alongside efforts to resolve challenges faced by rice millers. The paddy procurement process remains strong in Punjab and Haryana, with the Central Government estimating significant procurement targets amidst ongoing operations.
