On Saturday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led government, criticizing its demonetization and GST policies as detrimental to India's farmers, laborers, and impoverished communities.
Addressing a rally in Jamshedpur, he accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of promoting capitalist interests abroad and dividing India along caste, religion, and language lines.
Gandhi vowed to enhance reservations for marginalized communities and promised to conduct caste census if Congress is voted to power, positioning it as a battle between BJP's divisive policies and Congress's pledge to uphold the Constitution.
