During a series of campaign rallies, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath vehemently attacked Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav for the SP's political alignment with Congress. Adityanath called this a betrayal of the late Mulayam Singh Yadav's principles, whom he claimed never favored an alliance with Congress.
The BJP leader criticized SP's tendency to stray from Mulayam Singh Yadav's values, labeling the party as "Ramdrohi" for avoiding cultural sites like the Ram temple in Ayodhya. He urged voters not to support what he described as the "black deeds of the red caps," a reference to SP's traditional headwear.
Amid Adityanath's remarks, the heated Uttar Pradesh bypoll battle continued, with allegations of misconduct by SP members fueling the BJP's resolve. With Congress abstaining from the contests and BSP contesting independently, the political landscape is keenly monitored ahead of the November 20 elections.
