During a Saturday press conference in Mumbai, key Congress leaders rebutted the BJP's allegations that their promises in Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, and Karnataka were neglected after elections. Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy, Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, and Karnataka Deputy CM D K Shivakumar outlined successful guarantee implementations.
They challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks accusing Congress-led states of becoming financial outlets for the party's elites. The leaders emphasized that their schemes focus on societal welfare over vote-garnering, with benefits from farm loan waivers and old pension schemes noted.
Highlighting success stories and urging voters to prioritize development over political rivalries, they criticized BJP's lack of accomplishment and the alleged shifting of investment projects from Maharashtra to Gujarat, calling for unity in opposing the ruling party.
