The United Democratic Front (UDF), led by the Congress, has accused the CPI(M) and BJP of an 'unholy nexus' in the ongoing Kodakara black money case. V D Satheesan, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, emphasized that a comprehensive investigation is necessary to uncover the truth.
Satheesan alleged that the investigation is being intentionally stalled due to political ties between the parties. He pointed to recent revelations by former BJP Thrissur district office secretary, Tirur Satheesh, suggesting that the unaccounted money was intended for the party's election fund.
Furthermore, Satheesan accused the CPI(M) and BJP of similar collusion in the Manjeshwaram bribery incident. He called for accountability and demanded answers regarding the origins and movement of the black money involved in these cases.
