Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked Diwali by honoring the unwavering commitment of the armed forces, celebrating the festival with BSF, Army, Navy, and Air Force personnel stationed near the Indo-Pak border in Gujarat's Kutch district.
Modi arrived at the Lakki Nala area in Sir Creek after landing at Koteshwar, coming from Ekta Nagar. Here, he offered sweets to the jawans, expressing gratitude for their service, as captured in a video where he is seen wearing a BSF uniform aboard a patrol vessel.
Earlier, Modi commemorated Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary, laying floral tributes at the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar. This occasion doubled as National Unity Day, recognizing Patel's role in unifying India post-independence.
