Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked the festival of Diwali by sharing sweets and camaraderie with personnel from the Border Security Force, Army, Navy, and Air Force near the Indo-Pakistan border in Gujarat's Kutch district.

After landing in Koteshwar, Modi traveled to the Lakki Nala area in Sir Creek, as confirmed by a BSF official. A video released showed the Prime Minister, dressed in a BSF uniform, offering sweets to the jawans aboard a patrol vessel.

Earlier on Thursday, Modi commemorated the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India's first Home Minister, by paying floral tributes at the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar, coinciding with National Unity Day celebrations.
