The Chinese Ambassador to India, Xu Feihong, has voiced optimism for renewed India-China relations following the border disengagement in Eastern Ladakh. Speaking at a Merchant Chamber of Commerce and Industry session, he termed the recent Modi-Xi meeting at the BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia, as crucial for bilateral ties.
With army patrolling expected soon in the Depsang and Demchok regions, Xu hopes mutual understanding will prevail, steering relationships away from disputes. He hailed the Modi-Xi dialogues, first in five years, for shaping the future trajectory of Sino-India relations.
