Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole made a symbolic entrance by riding a bullock cart to submit his nomination for the Sakoli Assembly constituency ahead of the upcoming elections on November 20. Signaling a grassroots approach, Patole predicted an impending change of power in the state.

Patole remarked on the palpable enthusiasm among the populace, criticizing both state and central governments for their stance against farmers, women, the poor, and reservations. He affirmed that the Congress-led coalition, Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), prioritizes debt relief for farmers, women's safety, youth employment, and inflation reduction.

The opposition alliance, including Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT), and the Nationalist Congress Party (SP), is aiming to dethrone the ruling Mahayuti alliance. As candidacy nominations closed on Tuesday, the political atmosphere in the state heats up with high anticipation for the November 20 elections and results counting on November 23.
