Missile Strike in Lebanon Injures Austrian U.N. Troops

Eight Austrian soldiers, stationed with the United Nations peacekeeping forces in Lebanon, were injured in a missile strike within the Naqoura camp on Tuesday. The strike resulted in minor injuries, Austrian officials confirmed.
Defense Ministry spokesperson Michael Bauer reported the incident via social network X, noting that it occurred around lunchtime. Bauer emphasized that the responsible party for the missile attack has not yet been identified.
The soldiers involved sustained "light and superficial scrapes," according to Bauer. Further investigations are underway to determine the source of the strike.
