Qatar's Last-Minute Push for Gaza Ceasefire

Qatar is committed to working closely with the U.S. administration under President Joe Biden to achieve a Gaza ceasefire agreement before the upcoming Presidential election, according to a statement from the Qatari foreign ministry on Tuesday.
In a press conference, ministry spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari expressed optimism about the unchanging nature of the mediation process, irrespective of the election's outcome. Al-Ansari emphasized confidence in the United States' institutional dedication to resolving the ongoing crisis.
This initiative underscores Qatar's pivotal role in seeking a peaceful resolution, aligned with American diplomatic efforts to promote stability in the region.
