In a significant political move, Amin Patel, representing the Congress from Mumba Devi, officially entered the race for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly election. Patel is set to face Shiv Sena's Shaina NC. Following his nomination, Patel affirmed his commitment to rejuvenating Mumba Devi by transforming its antiquated structures into modern clusters.

Speaking to ANI, Patel voiced confidence in his electorate, expressing gratitude for their unwavering support. 'The love and respect from Mumba Devi's community will ensure my triumph. Redeveloping the region's old buildings is my primary goal,' he stated, promising to prioritize the cluster projects upon his potential re-election.

Tushar Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi's great-grandson, underscored the importance of advocating for sincere leaders amidst looming constitutional threats. Arvind Sawant from Shiv Sena also emphasized the necessity of strong, tested candidates, noting that Amin Patel has a proven track record in the Mahavikas Aghadi. Patel competes against Shaina NC of the Shiv Sena in this pivotal electoral battle.
