As reported by Kompas newspaper, this tour closely follows his recent assumption of office on October 20.
According to unnamed sources cited by Kompas, President Prabowo's itinerary will include visits to China, the United States, Peru, Brazil, and Britain. While the Indonesian foreign ministry has not yet confirmed the details, experts see this as a continuation of Indonesia's long-standing policy of non-alignment in global affairs.
President Prabowo's diplomatic journey is set to commence in China, where he will engage with President Xi Jinping and key Chinese officials. This will be followed by a visit to Washington, D.C., for discussions with U.S. President Joe Biden. He will participate in the APEC summit in Peru and the G20 summit in Brazil before concluding his tour in Britain with meetings involving King Charles and Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
