As Uttar Pradesh gears up for crucial bypolls across nine assembly constituencies, Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav expressed strong confidence in his party's candidate, Tej Pratap Yadav, clinching victory in the Karhal seat. Speaking to the media, Akhilesh emphasized that this election could bring historic results for the SP, citing diminishing chances for the BJP.
Tej Pratap Yadav is the SP's chosen candidate for Karhal, with the by-election slated for November 13. The election commission has scheduled the bypolls for nine vacant seats, excluding Milkipur. Other constituencies facing elections include Meerapur, Kundarki, and Ghaziabad, to name a few.
The recent alliance of the INDIA bloc, involving unified candidates contesting under the SP's symbol, is poised to influence the polls significantly. The Congress has stepped aside in these seats, backing the SP, as announced by its in-charge Avinash Pandey. The vote count is set for November 23.
