Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray expressed unwavering confidence in the Maha Vikas Aghadi's prospects for clinching victory in the forthcoming Maharashtra elections. As an incumbent MLA from the Worli assembly constituency and the previous guardian minister of the Mumbai suburban district, Thackeray reaffirmed his commitment to the political alliance.
Upon filing his nomination from the Worli seat, Thackeray addressed ANI, highlighting the people's love and party support that bolstered his nomination. He stated, "With the people's love and my party's backing, I've filed my nomination today. We are hopeful of MVA's triumph in Maharashtra." Thackeray embarked on a roadshow and offered prayers at a temple before submitting his nomination.
Thackeray underscored his agenda aimed at eradicating unemployment and halting the 'loot of Maharashtra.' He maintained, "My goal is to eliminate unemployment and internal looting of Maharashtra. This will be my focus if elected." Accompanied by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi, who projected a 'historic margin' in Thackeray's re-election, they criticized the BJP, accusing it of propagating 'lies' about the MVA alliance.
