In the wake of a recent terror attack, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring peace and development in Jammu and Kashmir. Abdullah adamantly stated that 'vested interests' will not obstruct the flow of benefits to the region's citizens, who have shown significant enthusiasm during the elections.

The attacks, which occurred at a tunnel construction site in Ganderbal, claimed the lives of seven individuals, including a doctor and six migrant laborers. Abdullah, visiting SKIMS Hospital to check on the injured, expressed the administration's resolve to remove impediments to progress. He assured a strengthened security grid to protect infrastructure projects.

Reflecting on the persistence of terror over 35 years, Abdullah stressed the need for a peaceful atmosphere for significant improvements.
