Gautami's Political Shift: A New Role in AIADMK

Actress Gautami, after leaving BJP post 25 years, was appointed deputy secretary of AIADMK's propaganda wing. Her joining took place in February with AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami present. Other key appointments in AIADMK include 'Tada' D Periyasamy, Fathima Ali, and P Sanniyasi.

Actress Gautami, known for her long association with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), officially transitioned to the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) by being appointed as deputy secretary of the party's propaganda wing.

Gautami, who spent 25 years with the BJP, joined AIADMK in February this year during an event attended by party general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami.

Alongside Gautami, 'Tada' D Periyasamy, previously associated with BJP, takes on the role of deputy secretary of MGR Mandram, while other party functionaries like Fathima Ali and P Sanniyasi have also secured new positions within AIADMK's organizational structure.
