Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav expressed strong confidence on Monday in a victorious outcome for his party in the upcoming Karhal Assembly bypoll, set for November 13.

After Tej Pratap Yadav filed his nomination, Akhilesh reiterated that Karhal has been a stronghold for the SP, led previously by Mulayam Singh Yadav, and projects another win for Tej Pratap.

Akhilesh Yadav criticized the BJP, alleging discrimination and corruption under its rule, while affirming that the 'PDA family' would spearhead an SP victory amid claims of communal strife orchestrated by the BJP.
