In a confident address, Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav declared her party's prospects bright in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh by-elections. Yadav highlighted the party's preparation and strategies, consistent with Lok Sabha election tactics, to secure a dominant victory in Karhal and other constituencies scheduled for polling on November 13.

The crucial bypolls, announced by the Election Commission of India, will fill nine of the ten vacancies in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly. Locations such as Meerapur, Kundarki, Ghaziabad, Khair, Karhal, Phulpur, and Katehari are gearing up for a decisive vote, with outcomes expected on November 23, while Milkipur remains unaddressed.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav criticized the state's ruling BJP government for prioritizing revenue through fines over enacting fundamental traffic measures, as road safety lapses continue. He cited broken roads, speeding, and lax helmet enforcement as major accident contributors, accusing officials of using fines as an extortion tool.
