Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is on the verge of finalizing its seat-sharing arrangement for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections. Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition Vijay Wadettiwar affirmed on Monday that the complete decision regarding all 288 seats will be reached by the end of tomorrow.
Ramesh Chennithala, Congress election in-charge for Maharashtra, dispelled rumors of discord among alliance partners, asserting unity within the MVA. Sanjay Raut of the UBT Sena emphasized that their mission is to unseat a corrupt government, not personal sacrifices.
As both the MVA and the ruling Mahayuti alliance, led by the BJP, ramp up their electoral strategies, Maharashtra braces for a single-phase vote on November 20, with results on November 23. The BJP released a list of 99 candidates, signaling their preparedness for the contest.
