The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, accusing its top brass of being embroiled in widespread corruption concerning land transactions. BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi has called for the resignation of Congress leaders on moral grounds, suggesting they are now exposed.

The allegations relate to a trust associated with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's family, which recently withdrew its application for a five-acre civic amenity site in Bengaluru. This move came shortly after Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's wife returned land to the Mysuru Urban Development Authority following a legal investigation.

Trivedi claims these developments, triggered by adverse reports and legal actions, signify a tacit admission of wrongdoing. He notes the Congress's shift from historical values, under the leadership of Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, indicating a deep-rooted issue of land grab practices.
