In a rally at Vikarabad, Telangana, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi underscored the necessity for the Congress party to collaborate with other political entities to effectively challenge Prime Minister Narendra Modi's BJP. He argued that the Congress alone cannot defeat Modi.
Owaisi cautioned against the waqf amendment bill, suggesting it would lead to social disarray, claiming mosques could be appropriated. He linked the legislation to a regression to past decades when social instability was prevalent.
The AIMIM leader also expressed discontent over government protection of controversial figures and questioned India's provision of weapons to Israel, speculating on geopolitical motives amid tensions in Gaza and Lebanon.
