In a tragic incident at the Artillery Centre in Nashik, Maharashtra, two young Agniveers lost their lives during a firing practice gone wrong. The mishap occurred on Thursday afternoon when a shell from an Indian field gun unexpectedly exploded.

The deceased, identified as Gohil Vishwaraj Singh, 20, and Saifat Shit, 21, were part of a team conducting routine firing exercises. Unfortunately, both sustained fatal injuries and were declared dead upon arrival at MH Hospital, Deolali.

The incident has prompted an investigation with the Deolali Camp police treating the case as accidental death, following a formal complaint by Havildar Ajit Kumar. Authorities are actively looking into the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate event.
