PDP Accuses NC of Post-Election Hooliganism in J&K
The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the National Conference (NC) and CPI(M) of engaging in hooliganism following their victory in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. Iltija Mufti criticized the NC's behavior, alleging harassment and property destruction, and urged authorities to intervene.

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has publicly accused the National Conference (NC) and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI-M) of resorting to hooliganism following their success in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections.
Addressing the media, PDP leader Iltija Mufti extended congratulations to the NC and its vice president Omar Abdullah on their victory, but raised concerns about reported misconduct by NC supporters. She alleged that NC's MLA Bashir Veeri and his supporters were involved in property damage and harassment, prompting an appeal for immediate action from authorities.
Mufti further expressed worry about the wellbeing of residents in the Bijbehara and DH Pora constituencies, as well as Kulgam, where similar behaviors are allegedly taking place. She thanked law enforcement for their prompt response and warned against further such actions by NC supporters.
