Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday intensified his rhetoric against Israel, labelling it a 'Zionist terrorist organisation' in response to its military actions in Gaza and Lebanon.
During a speech to his ruling AK Party members in parliament, Erdogan did not hold back his criticism of Western countries, with the United States singled out for supporting Israel.
The president further warned that the recent cross-border violence involving Israel and Iran could escalate into a broader regional conflict.
