Congress leader Pawan Khera launched a sharp critique against Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, accusing the PM of blending government events with political rhetoric. Khera raised concerns on social media, questioning Modi's use of taxpayers' resources for what was described as a politically charged speech targeting the Congress party.
Khera's accusations came in the wake of PM Modi's broadside against Congress during a virtual event in Maharashtra, where he inaugurated several developmental projects valued at over Rs 7,600 crore. Modi alleged that the Congress party has a strategy to divide the Hindu community for electoral gains, citing recent election outcomes in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir as evidence of the country's shifting political dynamics.
In his address, Modi further accused Congress of creating discord among various Indian communities, including Dalits and farmers, by resorting to misleading tactics. He praised the BJP's governance in Haryana, attributing the party's electoral success to its welfare schemes for farmers and other marginalized groups. Modi's comments also emphasized a stark contrast between BJP's development initiatives and alleged Congress-era corruption.
