AAP Takes a Solo Stand Against 'Overconfident' Congress in Delhi Elections
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will independently contest the Delhi Assembly elections, citing the Congress's overconfidence and arrogance as reasons. AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar criticized Congress's handling of alliance formation in Haryana, affecting their electoral performance. Despite past collaborations, seat-sharing disagreements led to a split.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has decided to go solo in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, positioning itself against the 'overconfident' Congress, as stated by a party member on Wednesday.
AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar accused the Congress of not valuing its alliance partners, reflecting on the latter's electoral failures in Haryana. Despite Congress’s lack of presence in the Delhi assembly for a decade, AAP had previously conceded three Lok Sabha seats to them, yet Congress remained uninterested in forging effective alliances, she added.
The inability to align led both parties, AAP and Congress, to fall short in Haryana's elections, clearing the path for the BJP's continued rule. The AAP's recent win in Jammu and Kashmir was attributed to its developmental agenda, as highlighted by Kakkar on the occasion of Convener Arvind Kejriwal's upcoming visit scheduled for Thursday.
