Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced on Wednesday that the BJP's recent triumph in the Haryana assembly elections has disassembled the 'fake narrative' spun by their political adversaries during the Lok Sabha elections earlier this year.

Fadnavis observed the once-unified opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi allies now criticizing each other, highlighting this shift to reporters at Nagpur airport. He confirmed that the seat-sharing talks within the ruling Mahayuti, which includes the BJP, Shiv Sena led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar's NCP, are nearing completion.

The BJP secured a consecutive third victory in Haryana, retaining power and checking Congress's attempt at resurgence. Despite Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders' criticism of their ally Congress following Haryana's results, Fadnavis refrained from commenting on internal matters. Looking ahead to the Maharashtra assembly elections, Fadnavis emphasized the reinforced public support for BJP.
